Lindsay Rice Clinches Two First-Place Wins in Her Audi RS3

Updated: Oct 24, 2018

(TORONTO, ON) Lindsay Rice, Canadian race car driver takes home two well-deserved first place wins in the T2 category at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.

Rice returned to her home race track to compete in the 2019 Indian Summer Trophy races at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park on July 28 - 29, 2018.

Due to intermittent weather on day one, Rice was unable to set a qualifying in the rain, leaving her with a race start position at the back of the pack for race one.

In race one, Rice managed to advance 28 spots to position 14 overall, which allowed her to take home her first ever first place win in T2. This also qualified her to get the Hard Charger award for her advancement in the race.

Beginning where she left off from race one, Lindsay Rice started the second race in 14th position overall. Over the 20 minute GT Sprint race, Rice advanced another 2 positions and ended with a 12th overall spot, and another win in T2 category.

"What a huge, huge weekend for Rice Racing. Not only did we take home two first-place wins, I also managed to bring my times down to beat my own personal record, again! We are getting close and closer to the times that I want to see - to the times that some of the pros are racing in the Audi RS3 at Mosport. Can't wait to work even harder the next time we get into the race car." Rice states.

This is the first season that Rice has competed in the Audi RS3 LMS car. For 2018, the vehicle runs under Audi of Mississauga and Audi Brampton dealerships in the GTA. Lindsay Rice acts as a brand ambassador for the two dealers throughout the season.
